When nails grow long and they touch the ground, they exert force back into the nail bed, creating pain for the dog and pressure on the toe joint. Over time, this can realign the joints of the foreleg and make the foot looked flattened and splayed.

• Deluxe Paw Care: Includes nail trimming, Dremel, paw pad inspection, moisturizing paw balm application, and a soothing leg and paw massage
  45 mins - $50

• Extended Nail Care: For very long nails and dogs not used nails being trimmed and Dremelled. Includes desensitisation and counter conditioning to make your dog more comfortable with getting their nails done
  60 mins - $60

• Regular Nail Maintenance: Depending on how fast your dog's nails grow, weekly sessions to Dremel only will keep the nails short
  20 mins - $20

Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning

Good oral hygiene is essential for your dog's overall health and well-being. Caring for your dog's gums is vital to preventing periodontitis and prolonging their health. Ultrasonic teeth cleaning removes tartar and destroys bacteria.  

 

80% of all dogs over the age of three, suffer from periodontitis, the inflammation of the gums due to tartar build-up. Teeth cleaning will be offered using the Mira-Pet ultrasonic toothbrush. The toothbrush cleans with oscillations, removing plaque and tartar. There is no movement or vibration and it reaches deep into gum pockets. It also destroys bacteria and improves blood circulation. We recommend 2-3 times a week for up to 5 weeks, then maintain with monthly sessions. An individual care plan will be discussed at the first appointment. 

 

​Teeth Cleaning: 

• Initial Teeth Cleaning: Includes a dental check up and thorough cleaning of your dog's teeth and gums to remove plaque and tartar buildup. The ultrasonic cleans under the gumline destroying bacteria when you can't see it. Depending on the amount of tartar, your dog may require several sessions. 

      60 minute sessions  $95 

 

• Maintenance Cleaning: For dogs with significant plaque and tartar buildup, our deep cleaning service reaches below the gumline to ensure complete oral health.
  Weekly or monthly sessions as required. 

      30 minute sessions $35 

 

Dental Check-Up: 

• Oral Health Assessment: We will perform a comprehensive examination of your dog's mouth, teeth, and gums to identify any issues such as infections, loose teeth, or gum disease. 

• Dental X-Rays: If necessary, we will refer your dog to your vet for X-rays and treatment. 

 

Preventative Care: 

• Dental Hygiene Education: We provide tips and guidance on how to maintain your dog's oral health at home, including brushing techniques and recommended dental products. 

• Dental Products: We offer a dental pack to support your dog's oral hygiene routine. The pack contains Organic Coconut Oil, gauze wipes, Dental spray and such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental chews,
