Nail trimming:

It’s not just for looks, or to protect your floors – long, unkempt nails can do serious damage to your dog. When nails grow long and they touch the ground, they exert force back into the nail bed, creating pain for the dog and pressure on the toe joint. Over time, this can  realign the joints of the foreleg and make the foot looked flattened and splayed.

Most dogs do not like their nails trimmed. They may have had a bad experience or not had their nails trimmed at all. It takes skill and patience to trim dogs nails. At Mad About Paws, we treat your dog like our own, making sure they are comfortable so they have a positive experience.
